Yoga

Kind, caring, loving and compassionate and hardworking woman looking for more opportunities to grow and learn. I am looking to expand my horizons and be given the chance to show and prove I am worthy and to contribute and be of service to society.
I am a private live-in caregiver for family who moved from the States to Mexico and relocated their parents with them as well. Some of my duties include: light housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry, giving meds, toileting, showering, light exercise, night time diaper changes etc. I also offer support, motivation and love to the clients. It's very important to give kindness and compassion. I am also learning about Dementia Care a bit since one of the clients has it. I have been trained by someone in the family who has had more than 25 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist and has worked with the elderly.
As part of the Ghosh Yoga team, I do social media work on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. I transfer blog posts and videos from Facebook onto Instagram and Twitter. I use templates to make posts or Instagram stories about yoga postures, their blog, promote Ghosh Yoga's workshops, events, books, etc. I do small projects depending on what is needed. I am a yoga practitioner myself and I have the pleasure of practicing this style of yoga through their manuals!
I was the face of the front desk. I welcomed patients in and scheduled appointments, answered phones, did data entry, handled cash and credit card transactions, helped with therapies (which I had to get certified for). I filed paperwork, did records requests, sent out mail, faxed documents, ordered supplies and more. I brought a lot of Spanish speaking patients into the clinic because I was able to translate for them and helped them communicate with the Dr. by helping them fill out paperwork, explain chiropractic to them and made them feel comfortable in every way.
I worked the front desk by welcoming and signing in students into class, I sold memberships, class packages, retail, etc. I answered phone calls, checked emails, filed light paperwork, did laundry and always kept the studio clean, handled cash and credit card transactions. I tried to help students with any questions or problems that they had, etc. Before I became a receptionist, I was a cleaner as a trade-in job for free yoga from July 2012 to June 2013, and then I became a yoga ambassador from July 2013 to December 2013. I started my yoga practice with Inner Fire back in 2009.
I assisted the teachers with kids activities inside and outside, meal preparation, naps, toileting (or diaper change), etc. This was a bilingual immersive daycare, so Spanish was spoken to the kids as the first language. I learned a lot from teachers on how to become a good caregiver through direct interaction with the kids, a lot of patience, love and kindness.
