• Working closely with the CFO to implement and support critical financial and strategic initiatives
• Leading and developing a team of more than 20 Finance professionals, transitioning the US operation to Guad, MX
• Planning, coordinating and leading annual budgeting process for the organization

• Overseeing and reviewing Taxes, Accounting, Finance, Treasury, Audit, Business Controls for the entire group

Key achievements: * Improve our AR processes, collecting more than 60% of the bad debt. *Financial analysis and executive presentations that led in processes´ implementations to improve the acuity and financial health of the company.

• In charge of P&L for Global Markets units, provide business advisory, forecast and roadmaps
• Being involved in finance strategies & provide highlights/predictive alerts & analysis to the executive team, interacting regularly with CFOs and Controllers and VPs
• This position implies a very good teamwork and coordination since it receives input from operations, finance, taxes, accounting & also participate in the monthly/year end closing processes as required.

• Support the Sales & General & Administrative expenses (SG&A) & Other Income & Deductions (OID) team, having interlock with our principal clients (controllers, CFOs and VPs) to provide them analysis and advisory about the main expenses and how can we pursuit a better gross profit
• My support is for 30 people with several skills in charge of providing services to many IBM units such as Cognitive & Cloud, Global Markets, GTS, GBS, etc.

• Control and monitor cost and revenue for Large contracts for Chile & Brazil., in charge of 3 people
• Key achievements: improve processes & efficiencies in cost that contributed a better rate in Gross Profit
• Business Advocacy & strategic planning.

• I had several positions in Americas Cost Accounting starting as World Trade Financial Analyst in charge of returns, credit corrections, elaboration & analysis of balances
• Review and clear GR/IR age balances for purchase product and operating supplies
• Cost updates, variance analysis
• In charge of 2 transitions from US to MX for the Microelectronics Division costing for IBM
• The core activity was to keep all the incurred expenses recognized and in scope to be aligned with the Financial team forecasts
• I also, coordinated and Lead Inventory, write offs for the divestiture between IBM MD and Global Foundries, tracking of account codes, meetings, and status for all the teams involved with the divestiture
• Provide all the support for the PwC audit requests
• MD reserves calculation and analysis
• AR/AP reconciliations & processes involved.

• Main activities: Taxes (analysis and calculation), payroll, bank reconciliations, general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial statements (elaboration, analysis and measurements).
