  • Manage machinery and tooling's buys, this includes, working with Launch/Manufacturing Department, procuring new machinery, for program launches.
  • Working closely with OEM, Ford, GM Tesla, Mercedes, HMG, with the respected car programs.
  • My job was, to bid machinery with global or local suppliers to meet financial targets, and when available made bundle contracts if the program was going to run in several plants, Hanon, had 5 plants locally and 2 in inside Mexico, MTY & CSM-Qro. and in the USA.
  • Our job was to handle all the RFQs in systems, getting supplier to Quote based on Machinery specifications, and price was finalize we got additional discounts, this process was done again if a running change was requested and tooling only was needed, our target was to get 13% saving every time we bid supplier and proceed company cash flow by negotiation, payment terms in several phases and some moving payments to next fiscal year, this negotiations will vary deepens on each supplier.
  • Collaborated with internal departments to better understand needs and determine purchasing requirements.
  • Reduced procurement costs through strategic sourcing, competitive bidding, and effective negotiations.
  • Maintained complete documentation and records of all purchasing activities.
  • Forecasted purchasing trends and improved merchandising strategies, with help of MFG teams using the forecast bid.
