  • Started a collector role as part of the Top Accounts team for Hill's Pet Nutrition. Started with some of the smaller accounts on the team and managed to continue learning from teammates and team leader, developing more Excel and SAP skills along the way. Had great communication with the subsidiary and internal team.
  • After seven months, I was entrusted to manage two of the largest e-commerce accounts on the team (Amazon USA and CAN, and Chewy). Along the way, I learned the complexity that this brings, the responsibilities entrusted, and the confidence to be able to manage this type of accounts. I've been on the learning curve so far these past four months, but I have learned a lot from these two customers, such as reporting, the correct assignments of the deduction, identifying pain points, and constant monitoring both accounts.

  • I started working for the Collections team at C2C Hill's Pet Nutrition team back on Nov 2021, where I learned about the management of the accounts, SAP System, and all the processes that are involved with the Collectors, which handles the queue, taking the payments over the phone, with credit cards, ACH and help the customer with any billing issues that they might have, either on how payments got applied, missing invoices and also the Collection of past due balances that are aging for more than 60 days, we start the attempts and give follow up, in case of no resolution, we begin the escalation process.
  • I currently manage the International Accounts, generate the report for the local team every beginning of the month and provided assistance to our customers, send the offsets on how the customer indicates on how to apply payments and also do the collection on invoices that are past due on the account.
  • I also manage some of the group accounts we have on our end by generating their statements at the beginning of the month, have a close interaction with the Accounts Payable from each account and provide any assistance it's needed. I conciliated two large group accounts that were having several past due balances and I was able to set agreements between the customers and us.

  • This is were I started to have knowledge about credit cards, payment terms, how to interact and deal with personal and sensitive information.
