I used to perform different tasks here, such as resetting passwords, unblocking accounts, recreating profile in outlook, troubleshooting vpn connectivity by accessing the customer's computer, giving access to sharepoint, work with Active Directory and some other type of troubleshooting steps for the employees of a company named Sanofi.
Here I used to perform as a road side assistant which pretty much was providing assistance to people that was actually lost at the middle of nowhere since they had had an issue with their vehicle. The way in which i was able to assist was sometimes sending out a tow for them to get them out of the place they were at, some other times they were requiring fuel delivery, lockout service. So i had to go ahead and contact the provider that was closest to them and which could fit the standards stated on their policy.
Here at this company my job was to perform assistance regarding different options for the customer to go and enjoy booking for them or sometimes just changing dates, adressing refunds issues and convincing them to deposit their week with us. So it was pretty much sales related too.
At Marriott one of my main tasks was assisting customers with making reservations for them in one of the different hotels located throughout the states and Mexico as well. This was pretty much depending on the customer's needs and also the type of trip they were looking to have. Along with that i had to resolve issues related to their stay, sometimes open up cases in regards to refunds or different situations that required to be adressed.
I was in the collections department providing assistance to customers who were basically inquiring about the status of their bill, how much the still needed to pay, what was the past due amount and when was the past due date. I used to take payments as well, and provide them with some other information they inquired about changing the type of bill or removing or adding services to their account and similar stuff.
I used to assist customers with making a reservation at one of the different hotels where they were looking to stay, check on the availability for them and provide them with the best option depending on the type of trip they were looking to have.
Assist passengers and be part of a security team during flight, making the passengers feel comfortable and safety, along with providing steps to follow in the case of an emergency.
Here i used to develop my skills as an english teacher from basic to intermediate levels at the beginning and once i have been there for some months i was promoted to start preparing students for the Toefl test as well.
I used to literally translate subtitles from english to spanish, performing corrections and adapting the text to different standards as a compliance of what the work i was working on at the moment needed to have improved.
I used to perform activities such as assisting the passengers with different issues that came up during the flight, apart from providing coffee and lunch service, indicate the steps to take during an emergency and so on.
