  • Statistical data analysis of the data obtained on athletes' forces
  • Placement of markers on athletes to analyze key points for 2D motion analysis, measuring the angle of flexion or extension during walking
  • Design and fabrication of an orthosis in SolidWorks for an athlete's foot to prevent plantar flexion based on custom measurements
  • Perform failure reports and preventive maintenance of motion analysis equipment.
  • Collaborate in the search and comparison of suppliers for selecting medical equipment.
  • Assist and support the dissemination and logistics of workshops and events the laboratory organizes.
  • Record and document data from tests conducted on athletes
  • Organized, cleaned, and updated biomechanical testing databases.
  • Support in the analysis of motion patterns and biomechanical variables

Clinical Engineering Intern

Swiss Hospital
01.2025 - Current
  • Perform maintenance on medical devices, both preventive and corrective
  • Modify circuits in medical devices
  • Assist doctors with requirements or modifications needed for any medical device
  • Change the hospital's water filters to ensure they are safe for use
  • Ensure that medical device suppliers for surgeries deliver their equipment in a proper manner

  • Organize documentation for the entry and exit of devices belonging to suppliers

Research Team Leader

BRAIN
08.2024 - 12.2024
  • Team leader of the investigation in the biomechanics division, in charge of the workflow, distribution of the work and weekly arrangements to work a code made in Python to prevent physical injuries to sport athletes
  • Created modifications to the code
  • Made every weekly report about the progress that my team and I have made throughout the semester
  • Investigated possible devices that could be used for our projects
  • Initiated a variety of meetings with people outside of our research group for better criteria of our project
  • Investigated the best movements that athletes regularly perform to analyze that could lead to possible physical injury
  • Created the reports and posters of our advancements and future plans for the future

Team Leader

ExpoTec
08.2024 - 12.2024
  • Team leader of the creation of a neurological device and game for people with paraplegia to provide entertainment, known as Mind Goalie
  • Developed the code for the game that was made in python as well with the design of the electrical circuit
  • Developed the electrical circuit, specifically known as a Sallen-Key Filter to reduce noise
  • Initiated the main idea of the whole project and whole structure of the game
  • Created a model to test the accuracy of our project
  • Programmed the code in Arduino for an Arduino Micro Controller to acquire the electrical data from the patient's head

Exercise, Drawing, Designing and Writting

I exercise daily at the gym because I know the importance of having an active body which can create a positive impact on your life physically and mentally. I like drawing and designing because it allows me to express my creativity in many ways. I have been pursuing these hobbies since I was 13 years old and still try to apply them when given the time. I also like writing stories, which is affiliated with why I like drawing so much, because I like to tell people stories that can change their lives for the better, which has happened to me on so many occasions.
