• Implementing and supporting environments of XenApp,

  As a Citrix Administrator, we had to coordinate the activities with different teams in order to accomplish client’s requirements.
• Currently, supporting a XenDestkop Environment with 250 concurrent users what was upgraded to version 5.6 and another environment with XenApp 6 and XenServer.

Citrix migration experience with General Electric: we were in charge
of migrating three large farms located in NA, EMEA and ASPAC with
~500, ~200 and ~100 citrix servers respectively from MPS version 4
to Citrix 4.5 and XenApp 5 and currently implementing new Citrix
farms with XenApp 6 for each geographic location. This activity
includes involving Application Owners in order to determine which
apps are good candidate to migrate to Windows 2008. The
implementation should be approved by CAD and according to ITIL
procedure.
• I work for GE GIS as a Sysadmin contractor supporting IT
Infrastructure by means Incident/change tickets, coordinating
activities with other teams such as DBA, Network, Domain Admins
and Application Owners and documenting the taken actions to
solve the problem or any implementation. Also, the service was
covered by OnCall and off-hours work.
• Promoted as Sysadmin L3 support for GE Treasury being part of
Implementation Team (Build Team) in order to accomplish business
requirements by means Change tickets in a Windows
Infrastructure. Due to the complexity of the Customer’s projects, it
was necessary to achieve and apply Green Belt-Six Sigma
methodology in order to add value to the deliverables. Also,
implementing HA solutions for Citrix environment which includes
Citrix Provisioning.
