ACHIEVEMENTS:

• Increase in quality in critical product from 88% to 92% using the yield metric, through statistical experiment design.
• Development of SMED for model change, reducing the change from 970 to 335 minutes, obtaining savings of $38,950 USD per year.
• New product launch, design, and specification of process parameters, and development of work instructions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Development, configuration and optimization of process parameters to improve efficiency.
• Workflow, material flow, and layout analysis to reduce bottlenecks and improve throughput.
• Monitoring production performance, balancing lines, and implementing solutions to minimize downtime and waste.

• Participation in a technological update project for extrusion presses, carrying out capacity studies and technical specifications of the equipment according to the needs of the process in terms of production volume, obtaining an increase in production of 15 tons per month in the business unit.
• Identification and implementation of improvements in aluminum casting and extrusion processes, with a focus on increasing productivity, reducing operational costs, and minimizing risks.
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams to evaluate optimization opportunities and implement new technologies in extrusion and aluminum production processes.

ACHIEVEMENTS:

• Implementation of lean manufacturing and the Toyota Production System in an auto parts assembly line, achieving a reduction in the line cycle time from 28 to 22 seconds.
• Development of model line through the implementation of andon systems, control plan, work instruction sheets, and poka yokes.

KEY RESPONSABILITIES:

• Coordination Kaizen (continuous improvement) activities with special emphasis on standard work, one-piece flow, visual controls and 5S.
