Asger Victor Hansen

With over 4 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, I am a passionate and driven founder of Kauil Energy, a company that tailors PV and net-metering solutions for businesses and condos in Mexico. I have a Master of Environmental Management from Duke University, and a strong background in economics, data analysis, and operations management. I bring diverse perspectives and experiences from working and studying in different countries and cultures.

With a strong interest in programming and having studied statistics at the graduate level I have found myself continuously being dragged towards automation be that for sales, quotations, building websites in React and project analysis over the years. As a consequence I decided to study programming with Node.js, React, MongoDB and Python with DevOps to become fully proficient as a Backend Developer with Nucamp.

As the founder of Kauil Energy, I am responsible for commercializing solar panels, sales, completing net-metering applications with the utility, managing projects, and accounting. On social media I am a moderator of a solar energy group with 90000+ members in Latam. Our company provides proyect financing and provide top customer service to our clients. We are present in 3 states and have been operating since 2020. I am always looking for new opportunities and challenges to grow and learn as a solar entrepreneur.
