Audrey Hemingway

Dedicated and service-oriented individual with a strong background in leadership, customer service, and mentoring. Currently serving as a missionary in Puebla, Mexico, where I hold multiple leadership roles, including Sister Training Leader, Social Media Leader and Reference Secretary. I oversee the well-being and development of fellow missionaries, manage technology use, and support online outreach efforts. With prior experience working in hospitality as a waitress and staff worker, I have developed excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. I also have experience mentoring elementary school girls, helping them build confidence and emotional resilience. Fluent in Spanish and passionate about serving others, I am committed to fostering spiritual growth and creating positive, supportive environments to help youth know they are loved sons and daughters of God.

As a mentor for elementary school girls, I worked closely with children from challenging home environments, helping them build confidence and understand their own strengths. I provided emotional support, guidance, and personalized attention, fostering a sense of self-worth and empowerment. By creating a safe and encouraging space, I helped these girls navigate personal challenges and develop the skills needed to succeed both emotionally and socially. This role deepened my passion for service and strengthened my ability to connect with and uplift others.

In my role as a Sister Training Leader, I oversee the well-being and spiritual growth of 12 sister missionaries across two zones, providing mentorship and guidance to support their missions and personal development. As a District Leader, I lead and trained a group of missionaries, conducted district meetings, and offered spiritual support. I also serve as a Social Media Leader and Referral Secretary, managing technology use among missionaries and overseeing the mission's Facebook page to enhance online outreach. Through leading weekly training sessions and conducting exchanges, I provide personalized coaching to help fellow missionaries improve their work and emotional well-being. My experience has allowed me to develop strong leadership, public speaking, and conflict resolution skills while organizing and leading meetings and companionship studies. Additionally, I have strengthened my adaptability and resilience by navigating the challenges of missionary life in a new culture and efficiently managing my time between proselytizing and office responsibilities. This journey has deepened my testimony of the gospel and fueled my passion for service and leadership, as I strive to invite others to experience the joy of following Jesus Christ.
