As a Conference Board of Canada developer and chair, my experience includes working with paid sponsors, arranging and sourcing a wide variety of speakers for a very discerning audience paying over $2K for an event and making sure I created memorable events that would attract and retain an audience.

My experience with owner and shareholders has been extensive and assisted by my certified Board Director designation. Even though family-owned companies are not under the pressure of publicly-traded companies, it is in their best interest to have good governance.
