My experience on autoimmune disease, as I have one , Rheumatoid Arthritis, since I was 23. wrong diagnosis, several hospitals and doctors from Mexico and the United states, 4 knee scopes and 2 knee replacements. I know what a patient goes through, the panic attacks, depression and emotional stress. Being empathetic and knowing what are patients going through I think is important. I have been in remission but its not always lineal sometimes you have to do changes become more strict I had to study everything in myself to manage my symptoms.
I have managed to turn off my symptoms when they flare up,started studying more, went from keto to ketovore to carnivore and Lion diet, all this in searching for my health. I managed stress, but I have to search for more things as in life stress is everyday sometimes harder sometimes not so hard. Its a journey for life. I have had to get stricter in my habits, then I relax in what I choose and try to find balance. Its not about perfection but yes strict in what makes symptoms flare. I know the importance of sleep, fasting, food that can affect, healing leaky gut all the long road it takes to heal.
