• About: World Fuel Services is a company reseller of marine, aviation and land fuel. I work for Aviation segment and I manage a portfolio of the most important fuel suppliers for Latin America and Caribbean region.

Functions:

• Maintain direct communication with fuel suppliers.
• Dispute invoices with suppliers, in case the Billing team finds either price differences, wrong billing address, incorrect customer, sanctioned location, etc.
• Issue or renew contracts, sales orders or fuel authorizations with suppliers, with the assistance of the Supply team.
• Reconcile accounts at month-end
• Participate in reporting meetings with Supply managers of each account (Internal) as well as with suppliers to show the status of the account, propose improvement areas and projects to optimize billing process and reduce the margin of error.
• Make changes to the system as needed, such as bank account, supplier information or contact information.

Achievements:

• I Worked on a project to close operations with a supplier in Cuba and Chile.
• I proposed to create a "Bot" that could make the prepayments of the corresponding invoices to reduce the manual work to 90%
• I participated in a project to close old balances for some inactive suppliers by the end of the year.

About: Bac Latam SSC is the free zone and operational center of all Bac Credomatic Financial Group in Central America. I worked in the "CoE Financiero" providing my services to Bac Guatemala and their accounts.

Functions:

1. Make the daily reconciliation of all my accounts.

2. Handle the accounts of local an international banks of Bac Guatemala, such as Bank of America, Wells Fargo, JP Morgan, etc.

3. Review imbalances in the accounts.

4. Certify my accounts at month-end for the KPMG audits

Achievements:

1. I created some automate rules at BlackLine to automate the daily reconciliation.

2. I participated in the migration of an old system to a new one.

3. I proposed the idea to talk with the banks to request some specific descriptions in the banking items to make relations with the Booking items.
