Lucky to have been part of the organization that made history in SLRC by bringing 21 investment projects and more than 10,000 new jobs to the community that remain and some have significantly grown (COPRESAN 2009-2018).
As a founder of a family-owned business dedicated to providing in-house food service cafeterias to the Maquiladoras, Hospitals, and Schools, it has been my job to coordinate all the due diligence for the start-up. From the company incorporation, licensing, personnel hiring, financing partnering, and business development. Further on it has been my main responsibility to quote and negotiate with new prospects, contract renewals, and develop daily solutions and systems that allow me to run operations with 50+ workers on 11 separate sites within two different Countries.
COPRESAN was a Non- non-profit public and private organization founded in 2009 to promote the virtues of San Luis Rio Colorado and its surrounding region to attract business to the city and contribute to improving the community's quality of life through new jobs and business growth opportunities.

On the organization's mission:
1. Designing and implementing processes in generating leads for international manufacturing expansion projects, providing key information of our region and all the necessary intel to help them understand the advantages of doing business in our community as well as providing full assistance all the roadway to their start-up operations in SLRC.
2. Building the EDC´s business membership of sponsors and key allies with industrial specialists, governmental agencies, international organizations, training institutions, and related consultants for funding support and above all expertise back up on the free assistance that the organization provides to promote business attractions.
3. Promoting strategies such as:
Develop marketing materials with the region's key Information.
Finding and providing specific intel for each project to help them evaluate the advantages of doing business within our area.
Arranging business seminars and working agendas for investment prospects.
Assist with site selection.
Assist in setting up applications and paperwork.
Assist with incentive applications and follow-up.
4. Strategic projects lobby:
Formulate and promote strategic project initiatives that solve development inhibitors and/or strengthen our community competitiveness as a potential destination for new projects in areas such as public and private infrastructure, key energy resources, education, incentives and simplifying regulations, and environmental and social responsibility.
5. Represented the organization at industry conferences and events.

1. Designing our annual business plan and budget project.
2. Exercised appropriate cost control to meet budget restrictions.
3. Presenting budget quarter reports and activities results to the Board and the City of SLRC´s Council.
4. Managed financial, operational, and human resources to optimize our organization's performance.
