I am a fourth-year medical student at the Autonomous University of Baja California (UABC), with clinical experience from internships and volunteer work in hospitals. I have participated in social assistance projects in rural communities, providing medical care, administering medications, and taking vital signs. This year, I worked as a clinical assistant in a renowned cardiologist's office. I co-authored a meta-analysis titled "Restarting Oral Anticoagulation After Major Bleeding in Atrial Fibrillation" and have contributed to clinical research, including studies on heart rate variability in the Cooper Test with Dr. Manuel Sánchez-Alavez (Scripps Research Institute) and the "COVID-19 Family Genetics Study" in collaboration with UCSD. I am passionate about cardiology and eager to gain more research experience. Additionally, being a Spanish speaker, I connect deeply with Latinx patients, which helps me build better rapport and deliver compassionate care. I believe my background will add value to research projects focused on the Latinx population.

Contributed to clinical note-taking and maintained accurate medical records, ensuring a clean and organized workspace while following medical protocols.
