As a sixth-semester student of chemical engineering, I have an entrepreneurial character, always seeking improvement and success, and contributing my best capabilities and abilities to provide improvement to the company. I am organized, ethical, motivating, enthusiastic, good at team working, and under pressure.
(2024) A team of 4 students, including me, designed a biological reactor for wastewater treatment at "Zinc Nacional" to address performance issues caused by high operating temperatures. Advanced cooling strategies and operational adjustments were also proposed to improve bacterial efficiency and reduce sludge formation. Simulations showed enhanced BOD reduction, better treatment quality, and lower operational costs. The skills that were implemented were in chemical reaction engineering, process simulation (SolidWorks), and kinetic modeling.
(2024) A team of 4 students and me developed a continuous pilot plant for the production of pirfenidone, an antifibrotic drug used to treat idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. The project involved designing and simulating the reaction and separation processes using Aspen Plus, achieving 80% conversion and 99% purity of solvents (toluene and dimethylformamide). The skills applied in this project were material balances, reaction kinetics, and distillation column sizing to optimize the process.
