Public Health Medical Doctor with experience in project coordination, team management and training for community health workers, medical students and general practitioners in Latin America (Bolivia, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Panama, Honduras, Guatemala, Nicaragua and Mexico). Work topics: Refugee health, migration and Mental Health, Sexual and Reproductive Health, Health systems and health policies, Tuberculosis and Leishmaniasis.
• Responsible of Global Fund TB project for sub-recipient Belgian NGO. See Country Grant: Nicaragua joined together for a sustainable national response in the reduction of tuberculosis and mortality, with emphasis on vulnerable populations and based on a family and community health model
• Coordination of activities with Unidad de Proyectos-INSS (Main recipient of funds) and Ministry of Health (Central and SILAIS level)
• Creation of methodological design for workshops addressed to community health workers and primary healthcare workers.
