- In charge of Import & Export department, supervision of all activities relating to Imports (Southbound) and Exports (Northbound) using IMMEX and different certifications like C-TPAT, OEA and CIVA in correct form and FTA's that Mexico have. Yearly cost avoidance around $USD 27.4 M between CIVA and Mexican tools like FTA, PROSEC AND Rule 8th.
- Compliance monitoring Annex # 24 accordance with RGCE rules. MX Custom Data Stage review and information collected from Annex # 24 system in order to validate all information available between ERP, Data Stage and A24 . Review of critical topics avoiding any possible penalties in a foreign trade government audit. Create and follow a platform where languages can be aligned between ERP and Annex # 24 and can be updated in real-time.
- Certificate of origin. - Correct filling and annual monitoring with potential new suppliers to receive either certificate or corresponding affidavit for northbound activities.
- Correct use of PROSEC's, Rule 8th and RGCE government rules.
- Correct application of non-tariff restrictions to be applied in all different types of permits necessary for import raw materials from different government departments
- Ensured compliance with all relevant regulations, maintaining detailed records and documentation as required as COFEPRIS, CICLOPAFEST, SEMARNAT, SENER ,
- Certification and monitoring of OEA (Authorized Economic Operator).
- Re-validation and monitoring of C-TPAT program (Customs Trade partnership Against Terrorism).
- Certification and follow up of IVA certification (Type AAA), Annex # 30
- Carriers Administration and evaluation; optimal border and shipping method.
