  • Being responsible for the health of employees of four different companies (Lau Industries de México, ICS VMI Group Packacking & Logistics in its two industries, Maquilados Técnicos SA de CV y Winston Juárez S de RL de CV), as well as compliance with the regulations corresponding to the Medical Department.
  • Working together with the departments of Nutrition and Psychology for the adequate development and application of the standards that should be carried out (NOM-035-STPS-2018, NOM-251-SSA1-2009, among others).

  • Perform ergonomic studies at the workstations of each position to prevent work-related injuries or illnesses, as well as risk analysis of machinery and operations in conjunction with the safety team.
  • Conduct ergonomic risk factor questionnaires (NOM-036-1-STPS-2018) with a focus on cargo handling as well as its evaluation and preventive and corrective actions.
  • Create a program of active breaks for health to prevent postural or work injuries, reduce stress and improve performance and efficiency in each position.
  • Make requests for all the necessary materials and medications that a medical department area must have.
  • Review the infrastructure and equipment of the medical office according to the standard (NOM-005-SSA3-2010.)
  • Participate in the creation of an annual work plan in each company that outlined the responsibilities and obligations of medical, nursing, psychological, social work and nutritional staff.
