  • Implement project dedicated to increase the production pass rate of hydraulic pumps (power steering) by improving the renewal process, and implementing a new design of pressure valve (internal component of the pump), taking reference in toyota designs. The results obtained: FTQ from 20% was improved to 90%.
  • Leading the transition and implementation of the EPS rack & pinion (electronic power steering) production line to Tridonex de Mexico. The contribution to this project was establishing the renewal processes for one hundred part numbers, and training a team of twenty production operators (initially).
  • Implemented improvement project to increase pass rate in production line for EPS Rack & pinion (1A2003 ford fusion) in production line. redefining the remanufacturing process and adjustment specifications of the different internal components. the results obtained: FTQ from 60% was improved to 93%.
  • Participation with the engineering team in a cost saving project, performing component resourcing, due to supplier changes. My contribution to this project was, defining specs and approving component prints for different part numbers. Overall savings of five million dollars per year were predicted.
  • Warranty analysis to reduce costs to the company and satisfy customer complaints.
  • Support to the R&D team for the introduction of new products to the remanufacturing process. Pilot run, operations training for renewal process, and validation of assembly and product specifications.
  • Gasket seal improvement project to increase the quality of the product, Verifying IP (ingress protection), heat aging, and compression set according to ASTM.
