ENGINEERING AND DESIGN TECHNICIAN (DEC 24- APR 25)

I was promoted as an Engineering and Design Technician, where I performed the below activities:

- Leading the projects to ensure adherence to OTP dates, working with the Team resolving questions regarding the machining, assembly and delivery dates

- Create designs for fixtures and workstation components for BRP and Honeywell companies, using SolidWorks and AutoCAD

- Conduct thorough research on official suppliers' websites to identify and select the most suitable components for inclusion in fixture designs

- Prepare Bills of Materials for designs to facilitate quoting and purchasing processes

- Responsible to deliver and install finished products at BRP and Honeywell facilities

- Rework and adjust them when necessary, based on Customers´ final need at their site

- Provide training to BRP/Honeywell Engineers in the new fixture, workstation components, crane manipulators functionality

ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN (OCT 24-DEC 24)

I started as an Assembly Technician, being my main activities :

- To read and interpret blueprints and Bill of Materials to assembly products, i.e. fixtures, workstations, toolings, conveyors, crane manipulators, etc.

- Machining parts using a milling machine and lathe

- Operate CNC machining centers, routers, and laser markers.

• Responsible for releasing production lines brought from Avery Creek, North Carolina; since making the first piece
• Bill of materials research, connection diagrams, drawings of assemblies and subassemblies for the manufacture of new products
• Experience in traveling internationally, communicating in another language and transferring knowledge and lines, developing learning and teaching abilities
• Participation in the transfer of production lines from Fayetteville, North Carolina to Ciudad Juarez; laying out the lines and all the equipment and tooling needed in the processes, etc.
• In charge of the material bins’ standardize project with 4-5 Operators under my responsability, reducing time consumption from 5 minutes to 15 seconds while looking for an specific part number wich improved efficiency
• PFMEA and solution of product failures and direct communication with the Plant Manager to give the status of the solutions
• Making visual aids on products without documentation

• Tooling organization received from the United States Plant
• Organization of sqft for new production lines
• Creation of Visual Aids, Pokayokes Sheets, First Piece Sheets, components’ laboratory tests and measures
• Training of new Interns
• Use of PLM program
