• Responsible for the logistics of production materials within the company.
• I coordinate the flow of productive material from its arrival at the plant and its registration in the system, storage and preservation, supply and attention to production lines, storage of finished product and shipment.
• To ensure that WIP levels are adequate and trigger actions when they increase.
• To Ensure that the inventory reflected in the inventory management system matches what is physically on hand for decision making by buyers, sellers and production schedulers.
• To study warehousing and material flow processes to generate improvement proposals that increases the productivity of personnel and equipment.
• I am the liaison between manufacturing and logistics needs, ensuring that production lines are kept stocked and finished goods are ready for shipment on time.
• Train and supervise personnel (35 forklift operators and 3 receiving and shipping supervisors) to ensure adherence to procedures and safe work.
• Keep documentation, visual aids and procedures up to date.

• Ensure compliance with production schedules.
• Implement actions to reduce scrap.
• Participate in conjunction with the engineering area in workshops and activities aimed at increasing line productivity and process improvements.
• Keep process costs within budget.
• Monitor, record and prevent process downtime.
