• Responsible for understanding the customer's technical roadmap and identifying and managing all new customer-specific process development projects.
• Manage technical aspects for all new customer-specific process development projects.
• Develop the scope of all technical work, coordinate the team, direct work assignments, and assist with problem resolution for the full customer product life cycle support for all manufacturing technical issues related to the customers' product(s) from product conception to product obsolescence.
• Evaluate potential manufacturing impact for each design concept.
• Responsible for the best practice standard development, participate in industry organizations for developing the standards, and provide training and application support globally.
• Set yearly plans and goals for the department, give direction on expected performance, and provide regular performance evaluations and ongoing feedback.
• Accountable for all department objectives and achieving agreed targets for key performance indicators.
• Perform layout designs and redesigns at both micro and macro levels.
• Ensure governance, control, and management of capacity studies.
• Govern, control, and adhere to 3P radar as the main KPI of Industrial Engineering.
• Generate and manage the product playbook.
• Maintain up-to-date cycle time information.
• Identify and implement labor efficiencies.
• Coordinate line and area releases.
• Manage and master PMOs for layout movement coordination.
• Maintain fully completed procedures for layout movements.
• Participate in the introduction of new projects and new processes.
• Engage in Kaizen projects and process improvement action closures.
• Participate in flowchart mapping and flow analysis.
• Contribute to the design of safe work areas.
