  • Among the various responsibilities that I assumed as a specialist in drilling and completion fluids for oil wells were the following:
    - In wellsite was the preparation, conditioning and interpretation of field tests according to API RP 13B-1 WBM & 13B-2 OBM .
    - Application of water based fluids such as Bentonite, Polymeric salt, KCl and low and high density oil based fluids.
    - Management of well hydraulics software (Advantage Hydraulics) for equivalent density control as well as drill string run/down operations, casing running, cementing, displacement to place completion fluids such as brines or well washout (Displex).
    - Supervisor level Well Control training.
    - Management of field reports with client on well site for charging according to the services per stage performed.
    - Inventory control to maintain quantities of equipment materials on board the platform and reduce losses, or in their return to plant as well as transfers to other locations.
  • Recommended real-time drilling parameters, BHAs, pump strokes and pipe RPMs for optimization and blowout prevention.
    - Support in the elaboration of bids with clients such as Pemex South Region for tertiary and mesozoic type wells, for North Region Tertiary - ATG wells, in Marine Region in HPHT wells of the following types:
    • Clean Fluids Pack B & C, Litoral & DW
    • Mesozoico – Mexico
    • HTHP – Litoral Tabasco (Yaxche) – Drilling Fluids Pack J
    • HTHP – Abkatun – Marine Region Mexico
    • HTHP – Tsimisn Xux – Marine Region México
