He currently works at the Mario Molina Center as an air quality specialist, conducting studies and research on these topics that impact public policy. He is also a researcher for the Master's Program in Sustainability and Environmental Technology (MASITAM) at the ENCB, coordinating postgraduate projects.His professional experience includes, among other activities, his work at the National Institute of Ecology (now INECC), serving as an Analytical Chemist (signatory to the Mexican Accreditation Entity EMA) in the area of gas and liquid chromatography. In 2006, he joined the teaching profession, teaching at the ENCB-IPN. He has collaborated on environmental projects in the fields of air pollution and climate change with institutions such as INECC, UNAM, IPN, state governments, GIZ, among others. He has published 12 scientific articles to date and has collaborated on a book chapter on environmental matters. Has graduated more than 18 undergraduate and graduate students.
