As a chemical engineer in sustainable processes at Tecnológico de Monterrey, with a passion for science, technology and innovation, right now I currently work in logistics and distribution for The Home Depot one of the leading companies in the construction and DIY industry. There, I lead a team of more than 20 representatives, who are responsible for resolving customer questions, checking ETA on packages, contacting the MDO when require, providing solutions to specific and unique cases using soft skills, as well as offering them additional services. My main competencies are sales, statistical data analysis, soft skills, problem-solving. In my previous experiences, I worked for different electricity and natural gas companies, both in Canada and the United States, providing support, and helping to connect services, among other tasks. These experiences have allowed me to develop communication, adaptation, negotiation and problem-solving skills, as well as working with computer tools and management systems. My goal is to continue learning and growing professionally, and contribute my knowledge, values and perspectives to a diverse and dynamic team that shares my vision of improving people's quality of life through engineering and customer service.
Industrial Security. I was part of an intensive course on Industrial safety, how to prevent and avoid high-risk accidents using the tools at my disposal. I learned how to handle extinguishers, to identify the types of extinguishers according to the problem that arises. How to evacuate and help evacuate, as well as how to maintain control and be of use to other colleagues, all while running with the lowest probability to prevent accidents.
