I am a responsible, organized, efficient, committed and enthusiastic educational professional, and I always take pride in the work I set out to accomplish. I currently implement and maintain education programs and services and serve as trusted resource to patrons, school personnel and executive board. I successfully maintain staffing and resources to achieve program objectives within budget. I leverage research-based interventions, strategies and instruction and analyze data to drive academic achievement and social-emotional growth.
LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT SKILLS-developed by management and supervisory experience in the education field, recently through being in charge of over 100 teachers and administrative support staff at various educational levels. PEDAGOGICAL/ ADMINISTRATIVE SKILLS-developed by certificate program in education, master’s degree in education and with 20 years of experience in the educational field, including class, level, program, curricular supervision, most of which has been within an IB curriculum environment (DP, PYP, MYP) and within private, international institutions.
Currently serving the ASFC school community and in charge of the Pedagogical Leadership Team, as well as the extended leadership team, to plan, oversee and asses our key teaching and learning process, working directly with the Academic Level Principals, as well as the head of Educational Orientation to ensure we continue to focus on our mission of inspiring a love of learning in our students, as well as providing a high quality, integral educational experience for our students. Also working with and supervising leaders and heads of other support areas such as Admissions, School Services, Human Resources, Marketing, Tech Support, Extension /Outreach, Events, and Facilities Maintenance. Recently reviewed and updated both the operational improvement plan, as well as our medium to long term strategic plan under the umbrella of our Continuous Improvement program, which currently includes a significant emphasis on obtaining COGNIA (formerly Advanced-Ed) accreditation by the summer of 2021. Also in charge of managing the school's yearly operational budget.
