In the project where I'm as a Tech support consist on being the point of connection between sender and receiver trading partners to ensure the correct file transmission. The activities performed are monitor alerts and flows to ensure that there is no issues with the files or flows and perform the troubleshooting needed in case of any issue, renewal of certifies and credentials needed to validate the sender and receiver trading partners, work on the addition or removal of flows along with the developer team. Most of the flows use MQ, SFTP and SFTPS connections.
In order to perform our daily tasks we use linux, IBM datapower, Mainframe, IBM Cloud, service now, Jira to document flows to be added or retired, github.
I provided production support to users and applications, on daily basis the applications used to perform troubleshooting were Control-m to perform monitoring tasks, Linux prompt, DataStage and SQL to check issues and resolve them and Service now as a ticket system to check issues generated o reported by users.
In order to provide assistance to users and keep in communication with my teammates and superiors I used Slack and Zoom.
Also, I got involved in activities like assign tasks to my partners, train the new guys in the team and join in meetings to check things related with the team as improvements, performance, schedule distribution.
