  • Staging i would set up my work area normally worked alone or with 1 other co worker once all my tools are ready and the area is clean. i would do safety checks on the lift and prime it for car use or truck use. note i was the only one who would do lift checks and small repairs.


  • Now i would head out to the car lines witch would be next to the Enterpise car wash once i get there i do a car count and make a quick plan on how to get threw all the cars in 1 shift normal day car counts would be 20 cars in 1 shift busy days and holidays would be 40+ cars next i would stage the cars use up 2 bays and 2 other cars next the a wall near the bays i work near.


  • Next would be inpection of the car look for body damage interior damage tire inspection tire psi checks tpms checks and then proceed to lift the cars and do the oil change with our system we would drain out all the dity oil remove the old filters cleam and lube the area and apply the new filters and replace drain plug lower the car add the correct oil to the max line check the dip stick 3 or 4 times as car is warm wait 5 mins do a leak check then check oil pressure if its all go to go we do one last tire check and or tire rotation we normally look for tire bulge and or nails in the tire if it has them they the tires would be replaced by the techs next to our bays once the car is done and all safety checks were passed we move on to the next car a normal shift would take 10 to 20 cars depending on witch types of vehicle were working on some go fast some take an hour


  • Drive the cars back to the enterpise wash bays and there team takes care of cleaning the cars and making them ready to be rented again


  • Around the end of the shift we degrease the entire shop from floor to the tools to the floor wipe down all tools sweep and mop the floor. return all the tools back to there proper place and lock up everything and finally drain out all the dirty engine oil out of both of our barrels once thats done we take photos of the clean tools and mopped floor keys in lock box then head out


  • Other responsibilities that i would do is take inventory of everything we had in both the airport and our storage down in kearny mesa restock oil filters degreaser mop heads


  • I also have experiance driving the company van to do commercial oil changes for other enterprises and autozones from San Ysidro to Ocean Side the company van would be stocked with everything i would need to finsh all my jobs and also be kept clean at all times
