- Responsibilities include delivering New Model launches in the assigned manufacturing plant (Vehicle or Powertrain) on time, at cost and within quality levels
- Manage the cross-functional actions leading up to the pre-production builds; deliver the Launch at or below budget across the key stakeholders and different departments, including suppliers partners
- Manage and led the New Model Program Engineering team through coaching and mentoring mindset, developing training and mentoring strategies to keep the teams performance to the highest quality of work standards (currently 9 direct reports)
- Manage the preparation and presentation of OKTP (OK to proceed for pre-build Milestones) reviews from Prototype pre-production builds through OK to Buy (Mass Production kick off).
- Manage the preparation and presentation of the New Model Programs Weekly Health Assessment reports to upper management
- Manage the cross-functional actions to ensure key processes are in place to drive resolution of issues impacting the launch, pended without resolution
- Manage the stake in the Change Control Process (Engineering Design part releases), ensuring changes are required and timed appropriately for program build validation and implementation
- Ensure the development of risk mitigation actions for non-production level approved parts with prove out plans to support quality launch
- Lead escalation meetings, to ensure transparency of high-risk items and drive issue resolution
- Assure appropriate management of vehicle ordering to support Vehicle Fleet Evaluation Process
- Assure launch teams comply with LQOS (Launch Operation Quality System) usage and reporting
- Review and approve PDL (Product Development Letter) changes assuring pre-production build support and prove out prior to launch
- Manage the Meeting cadence for launch on site and the daily coordination of the ongoing launch activities
- Ability to regular and extend travel internationally to support assembly plants during program launches
