Key Responsibilities:

In this role, I am responsible for driving the strategy for LATAM Apparel Solutions Group, with full P&L accountability (appx. $125M). We employ 1000+ team members in this region and service over 900+ customers across 13 countries. I directly oversee 4 manufacturing facilities (Mexico, Honduras, Columbia & Brazil) as well as sales offices in another 5 countries. Avery functions as a matrix organization where I directly lead our commercial and customer service functions, with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance and HR leaders having dotted line reporting into me.

Key Achievements:

- Restructured the business and improved Intrinsic EBIT from 1.8% to 10.2% in 2 years

- Lead digital transformation work streams for WMS, Customer Service and CRM for the business and delivered a 45% productivity gain for the customer service and 36% gain for the sales team.

- Increased employee engagement by 7% and customer loyalty index by 24%, the highest single year gain for any region in 2024

- Created a 5 year Strategic roadmap for LATAM with a revamped Go To Market strategy to prioritize and drive outsized share gain in High Value Segment products like RFID, NFC and In Plant Printing Solutions

Key Responsibilities:

Lead a team of 50 sales professionals across Vietnam, Cambodia & Thailand to drive business growth in the Apparel and Footwear industry. Coordinate with global commercial teams and local production sites to ensure flawless execution on servicing mandated business. Lead local, regional efforts to gain share of open / multi nomination business. Develop strategies to enter new segments like logistics / Food QSR and Retail and drive initiatives to gain market leading positions in each of these. Partner with global teams to drive innovation, automation and factory solutions, resulting in stronger and more strategic linkages with our customers.

Key Achievements:

- Took over this responsibility in peak Covid restrictions in Vietnam, yet we kept all our employees safe and still managed to deliver on time critical products (labels / packaging material) to key Pharmacuetical, FMCG, Hospitals and other healthcare providers

- Grew the sales from $205M in 2020 to $239M in 2021.

Achieved 5% Gross Margin expansion by driving strategic pricing and product reengineering

Key Responsibilities:

Provide strategic oversight and tactical leadership in the ASEAN region to start manufacturing operations in Bangladesh and Vietnam. Responsible for driving the international expansion for Tex Fasteners (Domestic Indian Zipper Manufacturer) by developing sales in Vietnam, Korea, Cambodia, Indonesia, Myanmar, HK, Middle East and Africa. Full P&L management for international operations.

Key achievements:

• Opened 3 new manufacturing facilities (2 in Bangladesh and 1 in Vietnam), employing a total of 750 people

• Grew International sales from $800,000 to appx. $19M in 9 years.

• Brought Key Apparel brands on board like Nike, Old Navy, H&M, Walmart, Inditex and VF Brands

• Executed license agreements to become OEM for US brand Scovill and EU brand Albert Zips.

• Achieved the number 2 position in terms of market share for zippers in Bangladesh (behind YKK)

Key Responsibilities:

Create and lead the PMO, Six Sigma program, Capital asset management department and a team of Regional Operations managers to create and sustain a culture of “Operational Excellence” (OpX) across 85 ARAMARK Refreshment Services (ARS) locations in USA, Canada & Mexico. Managed $150M in P&L cost categories.

Key accomplishments:

• Realized annual recurring cost savings of $7.2M by implementing strategic cost out and automation projects

• Revolutionized Aramark Uniform Services business model by implementing a real time, dynamic service delivery module for product delivery & repair services across USA & Canada. Was recognized by FORTUNE (2009) as a “Young Innovator” for this initiative

• Responsible for life cycle management of capital assets to the tune of $200 million.

• Achieved 95%+ regulatory compliance in DOT, OSHA, HR and Energy audits, the highest ever for our line of business.

Position required extensive liaison between field production operations and corporate office staff. Identify and implement high ROI projects related to process improvement, system upgrades and cost reduction opportunities that significantly impact the company’s bottom line.
