I have been lead development engineer responsible of the development of the interior door trim panels of the VW370, VW370PA, VW371, VW372, VW326 , VW316/5 ME, VW316/5 RU (currently), VW316/6 NA (currently) projects. With the development carried out in Mexico, and the production of the actual models in several locations as Mexico, USA, Russia and Brazil. My main responsibilities in these projects are, design release responsible, supplier assessment and evaluation for nomination, coordination of all areas to ensure correct specification and documentation, completing the product development within allotted budgets and timelines, analysis and troubleshooting product issues, DFMEA coordination and assistance, ideas for product optimization towards cost reduction (PKO), and coordination of technical changes to series products and facelifts.

I was lead development engineer responsible of the development of the firewall, platform, pillars, floor and trunk sound dampening and heat insulation for the VW370, VW370PA, VW371, VW372, VW326 projects. With the development carried out in Mexico and the production of the models done in Mexico and Brazil. My main responsibilities in these projects were, design release responsible, supplier assessment and evaluation for nomination, coordination of all areas to ensure correct specification and documentation, completing the product development within allotted budgets and timelines, analysis and troubleshooting product issues, DFMEA coordination and assistance, ideas for product optimization towards cost reduction (PKO), part testing and coordination of technical changes to series products and facelifts.

Design responsible for Quality Checking fixtures used for quality testing and dimensional assurance of motor hoses (VW Golf A7 2016) , tail lights (audi Q7 2017), headlamps (audi Q7 2017) and front plastic bumper (VW beetle dune 2018), ABS hose-bracket (VWbeetle dune 2018) for several automotive part manufacturers. My main responsibilities in this job was, Go, no-go gauges and clamping mechanisms design for the mentioned checking fixtures, main features surfacing and modeling, documentation and CAD team coordination with an external development supplier in India.

Dassault Systemes Catia V5 instructor for individuals and groups.

My main responsibilities in this job were to prepare exercises and examples to teach GSD, Drafting and Part design modules in CATIA V5 software, complete teaching, following and evaluation of the students of the beginner, intermediate and advanced courses prepared by Dassault Systemes.

Professional practices in the position of CAD designer. During this professional practices I was instructed in design for plastic manufacturing, CAD Design VW norms and workflow, checking fixtures design and documentation, GD&T and RPS reference systems, sheet metal design for manufacturing, checking fixture machining and tunning, tolerancing and tolerance stack up.
