Provide a comprehensive evaluation of the current state of the discussion present and future public policies regarding the role of the food industry in of overweight, obesity and NCDs, in general, which serve as inputs to design and execute communication, regulatory, marketing and relationship strategies for companies.
· Development, execution, and evaluation of the strategic plan of the food and beverage committee in ConMéxico.
· Management and coordination of the main food and non-alcoholic beverage companies.
· Technical and scientific advice to contribute to legislation, standards, regulations and other regulatory initiatives of the food and non-alcoholic beverage industry both in Mexico and in the LATAM region.
· Technical and scientific guidance on nutrition, innovation and development to multilateral organizations (WHO, CODEX, FAO), academia and government.
· Analysis, drafting and presentation of technical documents based on scientific evidence to different actors.
· Analysis of both global and local food regulations and recommendations to detect potential risks for the food and non-alcoholic beverage industry.
· Development and coordination of market studies on food and nutritional labelling in consumers.
· Participation in local and regional external activities such as meetings, workshops and/or conferences representing the food industry before different private and government actors.
· Coordination in LATAM of the scientific and regulatory affairs committee in the Latin American Alliance of Food and Beverage Industry Associations (ALAIAB)
· Relationship with different local and global organizations of the food and non-alcoholic beverage industry such as: CONCAMIN, CANACITRA, ALAIAB, Food and Drink Europe, Food, Health & Consumers Products of Canada, Consumers Brand Association.
Coordination of health marketing strategies and activities, such as congresses, courses, medical visits and development of materials for brands such as Danone, Activia, Danonino and Bonafont.
