Among the main functions in the Aeromexico AOG are:

• Place orders (PO) with AOG priority for the purchase of expendables, rotable, with high urgency.
• Use of AMOS system to track purchase orders, transfers and supplier management
• Direct negotiation with suppliers to obtain better offers / immediate stock for pickup.
• Consultation of the AIPC / CMM manual to search for alternate, interchangeable or NHA PNs for the care of AOG events.
• Follow-up on orders by PBH contract, to guarantee their shipment depending on the priority as soon as possible.
• Inventory management (stock) for transfer to national and international stations
• Meeting with suppliers to look for areas of opportunity in the purchase of aircraft parts with better anticipation.
• Place exchange orders as well as track CORE return delivery and approval of repair costs.
• Direct dealings with airlines to support AOGs in national or international stations, managing rentals / purchases of material.
• Registration of potential suppliers to meet the airline's demand, considering volume, delivery location and competitive prices.

• Generate daily work reports
• QRQCs about the daily activities and follow-up of the improves in LPT
• Review and identification of documentary errors in 8130 certificates
• Internal audits to improve processes, risk solutions and staff support
• Master Plan to reduce impacts to the repair area, with periodic meetings to contribute ideas that can be reflected in the area
• Root cause analysis for implementation of improvements in the LPT process
• Attend meetings about findings found in the LPT area
