Internship

SA
Guadalajara
02.2024 - 08.2024

Supported administrative and trade-related functions within the Mexican tax authority.

Gained hands-on exposure to regulatory compliance and formal government processes.

Since Diageo is a global company, they have to deal with heavy regulations and taxes (especially with alcohol). Showing that you've worked at the SAT and actually understand taxpayer laws in Mexico makes you look like a total asset for their operations or finance teams.

Additional Information

While studying at UNIVA, I was part of a select group that collaborated with SRH University Heidelberg , Deggendorf Institute of Technology and the University of Passau in Germany. We worked on creating interdisciplinary approaches to sustainability, specifically looking at how they use renewable energy in their public transport systems to protect the climate. It really gave me a global perspective on how large-scale logistics and resource management can be handled sustainably
