Accomplishments

    Project Management:

  • Lead the Supply Chain team during the operational growth into the US market from 18 delivery destinations to more than 200; resulting in a 22% increase in business.
  • During the 1st year saved $3.5M USD by implementing supplier development program (wood).
  • Operations Management:

  • Aligned strategic project (Cero Daños) to performance outcomes, helping HR to link results to bonus and employee assessments; improving CpK performance by 27% which resulted in savings of $800K USD/ year in claims avoidance.
  • National Car haul Logistic Center transition from Toluca to Puebla. (Facilities, inventory, operations, legal affairs, etc). Creating a 4hec facility for 80 people, 100 car haul units to support Audi, VW, Mazda and Mercedes Benz operations.
  • Leadership

  • During the COVID 19 pandemic, I was responsible for creating the "Developing Management Skills" program, addressed to the Top Management team, reactivating the complete operation to 100% in less than 3 months.
  • Developed the Training Department (15 people) as a fundamental pillar of organizational growth, and with the technology implementation, we achieved a 400% increase in training hours during the 1st year
  • Process Improvement

  • During the 1st year, we cut the upward trend in the CPU (in quality claims) that was at $183 USD/Truck, normalizing it to $179 USD/Truck by the end of 2018, leaving it at the end of my management at $104 USD/Truck (43% reduction).
  • In coordination with the Customs General Administration (Central Administrator in Mexico City) developed a miscellaneous rule for temporary export that was published in the SAT (IRS) Foreign Trade General Rules.
  • Increased almost 13% from the warehouse capacity by external warehousing services (VMI’s and Cold Storage).
  • Lead the kitting process transition process (harnesses line, SPC’s, etc.) from Manchester, UK to México Plant.
