  • Case Manager - In this capacity, I performed case management duties with parolees being released from state prison. My duties included weekly presentations at the parole offices throughout San Diego County. These presentations provided information to help the parolee be successful in society after being in an institution for an extended period of time. They were given options of entry into different programs available to them and provided a buffer between the parolee and the parole agent. I maintained accurate documentation, file information, and notes for each individual parolee, sending detailed reports to the parole agent on a weekly basis for each parolee on my caseload. As a Lead advocate, I was responsible for quality assurance on all files within our programs pertaining to the accuracy of dates, signatures, and HIPPA compliance.
