I am responsible for the full installation process of underground electrical service lines. My duties begin with operating an excavator to dig trenches from the utility pedestal to the meter base while ensuring proper depth, alignment, and safety standards are met. Once the trench is prepared, I pull and install the electrical conductors from the pedestal to the meter base, taking care to prevent damage to the wire and maintain correct spacing and protection. After the conductors are in place, I backfill the trench, I complete the job by terminating the conductors at both the pedestal and the meter base, ensuring all connections are secure.

• Troubleshoot and repair street lights that the City of Edmond cannot access, ensuring reliable public lighting and safety.
• Install new street lighting systems in developing subdivisions, following city codes and safety standards.
• Perform fault crew duties, including locating underground electrical faults through manual digging or use of heavy machinery.
• Collaborate with the City of Edmond to coordinate timely repairs once faults are identified.
• Maintain a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and minimizing service disruptions for the community.

• Assisted in the Inspection of equipment for faults or damage to determine repair needs and assisted in the maintenance of underground cables and conduits.
• Assisted in the repair of damaged lines due to storms or accidents.
• Connected new customers by running service drops from existing main line wires to customer premises.
• Identified site hazards and utilized safety and protective equipment to comply with safety rules, and followed OSHA regulations related to safety procedures at job sites.
• Responded to emergency outages and storm damage, working under challenging conditions to restore power.
• Spliced wires to complete circuitry for effective power distribution.
• Utilized volt meters, ammeters, and other testing devices to assess and ensure system functionality.
• Operated diggers, and other equipment to erect poles and light or heavy power lines.
• Trained and mentored by journeyman linemen, sharing knowledge, and reinforcing safety practices.

• Received and tracked incoming inventory shipments and organized warehouse space for efficient storage of products.
• Loaded and unloaded trucks with hand-trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts.
• Managed hazardous waste removal operations per government regulations.
• Investigated any reported problems regarding shipping errors or damages.
• Tagged and wrote identifying information on containers, boxes and transformers.
• Used digital database to keep records of units and stock moved.
• Distributed the materials internally to the appropriate teams and departments, ensuring everyone has access to the necessary resources for their tasks.
