- As the project lead, I successfully oversaw a teleradiology initiative aimed at benefiting the population of Durango, Mexico
- One of the major achievements of the project was the significant reduction in diagnostic times, radiologist specialists were able to diagnose medical images remotely through a web platform, enabling quicker access to results for patients
- Additionally, the lead neurosurgeon, Dr Guillermo Burciaga, could conveniently access images during surgeries using an iPad app.
- This milestone was marked by the first teleradiology-backed surgery in Durango, performed in May 2010
- Currently, the project remains in production, with regular maintenance performed to ensure its smooth operation.
- Although the maintenance work is not continuous, efforts are made to keep the system up-to-date and functioning effectively.

- During deployment to the Neurological Service of the institution, a crucial role was played in refurbishing and maintaining electroencephalography devices and ultrasound equipment.
- A Learning Management System (LMS) named "Anatoboard" was proposed, developed, and supported for alumni retaking the course. Over two iterations, the platform accommodated up to 1500 concurrent alumni each semester. In the first iteration, the Alumni management module was developed on FileMaker, incorporating a reporting module for scoring and grading alumni, as well as printing individual alumni access cards. This streamlined the attention process, reducing waiting times significantly. For the second iteration, WPLMS for WordPress was implemented, reducing platform costs and enabling scalability from 1,000 to 1,500 alumni.
- A small analytics module was also developed to monitor alumni in need of counseling, allowing focus on those who required assistance.
- Development of photogrammetry project for AR education of human anatomy, conducting 3D scans of human body parts for preservation, education, and research purposes. These efforts garnered an honorable mention in a CONACYT program and were featured in a blog post by the AR Startup "Augmented."
- As the result of contributions, two mentions were received for collaboration in anatomical research across several publications. Additionally, involvement in a patent petition related to image analysis occurred.
