• On this position I oversaw all the different areas and processes needed to manufacture a piston in the machining area.
• Here we worked with other departments to have good accomplishments that impacted on the effectiveness of efficiency and readiness for setups.
• I oversaw 2 shifts, 80 people.
• Achievements for this position:
• We increased and improved efficiency rate from 70% to 90%, we also reduced our labor costs by consolidating operations and implementing point of use and kanbans for high demand items.
• Besides this we reduced our scrap rate from 7% to 2.3% by reviewing and adjusting operations as well as by developing and training our personnel.

• On this position I was overseeing the Purchasing, Planning, Warehouse and Shipping operations, here I am accountable for procuring materials and manage the best possible all the stocks in all areas.
• I am also a clear thinker forward continuous improvement through high performance team building and process improvement.
• Below are some of the main activities and responsibilities I performed in this role:
• Acquired Supplies and ensuring Materials and production flow to be uninterrupted most of the time possible.
• Maintained good Inventory levels and comply with inventory value goals.

• Used to manage and supervised all the Materials flow operation for the electronics production area and material’s handlers as well.
• Here I had to make sure we had all the materials ready for the production lines ahead of time and that they were delivered in a timely manner, so it did not affect efficiency and productivity.
• Here I used to oversee 64 people in 2 shifts.
• Reorganized the staging area for quicker material delivery for production.

• On this position I continued purchasing but at the same time I did minor sourcing activities.
• Working closely with suppliers, doing productivity projects, like adding suppliers to SNC that was an SAP module (Supplier network collaboration) to make it easier for the company, bringing small materials quantities more often and for the vendor seeing the releases and forecast on the internet supplier portal.
• In this position, I did the first article purchasing, contacting vendors to get correct prices, getting materials needed to validate PPAP’s along with the SQE deparment for vendors working with JIT or VMI prgrams.

CGI was the world leader on door opening solutions located in Nogales Sonora Mexico. Mainly dedicated to the manufacturing of residential and commercial door and access openers.

• On this Position I was in charge for buying the electronics and hardware components used build the Garage Door Openers.
• Managing more than 30 vendors.
• Always releasing PO's on time and monitoring correctly any demand change to make adjustments and expedition quickly.
• Worked with vendors on cost and lead time reductions, accomplishing 25% in cost and lead time improvements.

• On this position I was responsible for implementing and setting up the warehouses so we could be ready for the SAP implementation.
• I was also responsible for doing testing and training for the entire Warehouse department, coordinating the training for all the warehouse’s employees.
• I lead the SAP implementation for 6 warehouses.

• Here my chores were all the warehouse activities that included receiving, Cycle Counts (program), FIFO and replenishment activities for the production lines and Kanbans.
• Delivering materials in a timely manner to avoid production lines stoppage or delays. Reduce lines downtime 30%
• I also had warehouse consolidation and expansions projects that were successfully accomplished. We moved a plant fron Esqueda Sonora to Agua Priera Sonora. I lead all the warehouse movements related to planning, execution and accompishment fo this project.
• On this position I was also responsible for the warehouse entire operation for two shifts, 24 people.

• In this position, I was responsible for the Warehouse, planning, Purchasing of materials, shipping and Production control for a Sampling Plant.
• Here I was part of the implementation for Swatches and samples program where we shipped physical samples of the materials customer had options to use on their products.
• After every sampling book created we had to rearranged warehouse and kanbans in production for the next sampling project,
• Led a team of 10 people, 2 shifts to accomplish all the activities related to sampling and materials and planning rediness

• In this position, I was responsible for planning and buying all the Raw materials needed in the plant to keep Production Running.
• I also helped sourcing on Developing vendor schedule programs that helped the company reduce inventories in more than 40% by not buying excess stocks.
• Generated and created easy formats for better monitoring and executing the purchasing of the materials.

• In this position I used to Planned and Programmed the subassemblies area that supplied needed and essential parts to the production of blinds.
• Monitoring subassemblies stocks and assigning Min/Max to help have better management.

• In this position I used to let customer know about the status of the order and making all kinds of changes to orders that customers requested after orders had been placed.
• At the same time running open orders reports and making sure all orders were available for production on the required and requested shipping dates.
• Implemented dates follow up with production to improve deliveries and a better system to locate productions orders in the floor.

• I used to expedite customer orders in the production floor, assuring orders were followed and shipped on time and on the dates given to customers.
• Worked closely with production personnel in the floor for better orders selection and follow up according to backlog list orders needed.
