  • Customer satisfaction, Inventory levels, Expedite / Transportation cost, Down time in production areas. When I started on my current Job one of the challenges was to recover Ford Q1 status , Improve GM SPPS and reduce the expedite cost that were impacting financial results .
  • My role in this position is to assure we are receiving, understanding and planning according to customer releases so we can be sure we are achieving their demand. I am focused in transitioning from customer demand into inventory levels that can meet their demand.

  • In charge of logistics of the plant, coordinating all transportation of Raw material, managing inventory levels of direct materials and all related to the finished goods shipments to Customer.
  • Directly selecting and analyzing freight rates on transportation Bid, so the company can have the best lower cost on our operations, working with most of the main carrier companies in USA and Mexico. Part of the carrier selection was to choose the best partners that met CTPAT certification and be active. My main objective was to provide the company with the most reliable source on regards of freight while maintaining the cost at the lowest rate.
  • In charge finished goods warehouse operation, design and operational process were implemented as well as the system to manage the operations , WMS / SAP were implemented to be able to track and be focused on inventory accuracy, space efficiency & layout optimization.
  • Follow up customer service focused on the on-time delivery & customer satisfaction, working with 9 distribution centers in USA and Canada, assuring the goods arrived on time and without any loss .
  • Operational manpower selection was part of the startup and the selection of 3rdParty logistics company was part of my responsibility, total managing was 43 people working as (3PL) associates and 3 people as a staff, Managing 1150 SKU.
