I assist guests in booking hotel reservations, knowing our promotions and occupancy. Assist with making reservations from OTAs, Wholesalers, STARS, Virtuoso and corporate. I am in charge of group blocks; I create the blocks in our programs, insert rooming lists, keep contact with group coordinators and balance inventory. I assist sales in analyzing data to determine availability and rates for our hotel and our neighboring hotels. Assist in increasing hotel occupancy rates through proactive upselling of rooms, packages, and additional services.

Responsible for managing inventory and rooms of the day. Worked with MARSHA to ensure correct availability was sold online. Ensured maximum occupancy could be reached by managing inventory in OPERA and MARSHA. Worked with housekeeping and engineering to ensure rooms would be ready. Assigned rooms accordingly for group and leisure guests.

Oversaw Front Office operations for staff productivity. Helped the team by updating computer programs to help with operation. Created checklists for AM and PM shifts. Assisted management with creating third party reservations sent via email and in training new team members. Collaborated with different departments such as Sales, Housekeeping, Engineering and Security.
