• Lead of the Legal Team of Bristol Myers Squibb team for Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru.
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiation of contracts, safeguarding the interests of the organization in all business dealings, including but not limited to 3PL operations, Real Estate, Distribution, Supply and sales to governmental entities.
• Active participation in industry associations to stay informed and shape emerging legislative changes affecting the organization's operations, mainly focusing on Intellectual Property, Regulatory Framework and International Trade items.
• Management of challenging cases (damages, criminal, intellectual property, regulatory, administrative, etc.) applying deep knowledge of statutes, regulations, case law, and persuasive advocacy skills.
• In charge of a team of attorneys (both internal and external counsel) to ensure timely completion of legal projects and efficient allocation of resources.
• Corporate governance of the 7 active entities of Bristol Myers Squibb in the Latin America region.
• Member of the Mexico and Latin America Leadership team, where the strategy for the success and sustainability of the company pipeline in the region is discussed and defined.
• Development of legal strategies to enhance the exclusivity of our products from different perspectives, including the defense of the company's current portfolio.

• Providing compliance and legal support for Mexico, Colombia and Venezuela entities of Bristol Myers Squibb.
• Development of the Compliance Ambassadors program for the region.
• Active participation during internal audits.
• Leveraged data analytics capabilities to identify trends in non-compliant activities, enabling targeted corrective actions.
• Negotiation, review and elaboration of national and
  international contracts to support the day to day and strategic operations of Bristol Myers Squibb in the region.
• Antitrust review of the company activities.
• Corporate governance of the entities in Mexico, Colombia and Venezuela.
• Advice on marketing and promotional activities.
• Compliance investigations, monitoring and training on company policies, including but not limited to contracting practices, interactions with health care professionals and fair competition.

Responsible of the legal & compliance management of the Commercial divisions of the Company (Seeds, Chemicals and Vegetables) as well as the Supply Chain, Human Resources, Finance, Strategy, Regulatory, Technology and Development,
Information/Technology and Marketing departments in Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Central America and the CAribbean.

• Negotiation, review and elaboration of national and international agreements (sales, services, supply, production, tolling, evaluation, etc.).
• Antitrust review of the company activities.
• Corporate governance of the 13 subsidiaries of the
  region.
• Implementation of internal policies (Human
  Resources, Internal Control, Business Conducts, etc.).
• In charge of the Anti-Corruption program of the company for the region.

Provide legal support and advice to the Sales, Operations, R&D and Enabling Functions of Monsanto in Mexico and Colombia.

• Elaboration and review of agreements/contracts and intercompany documents.
• Corporate governance of the subsidiaries of Monsanto in Mexico and Colombia.
• Review and monitoring of internal policies.
• Trademark registration, marketing campaigns, labor and migratory law, labor and collection litigation.
• Implementation of the Anti-Corruption program of the
  company (based on the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act of the United States).
