Themed Attractions and Parks Sales – Installs

Playland Park – Rye, New York -

Sold and Installed the Camber – Morphis Simulator experience on three year install and revenue share; including ride film packages from Ben Stassen - NuWave, and original design of Ridefilms, later distributed by all ride film companies. Attraction renovation from the successful bid for The Old Mill Attraction – water log ride – dark ride combo – rethemed characters retrofit. Supervisor – Joe Montalto, Playland Park Director.

Mars 2112 – New York City

Representation and sales of Motion Based Theater Platform along with the creative design and production of script to animatic for themed ride film simulator opening into the planned Themed Entertainment Restaurant attraction. Install reverted to Metropolis Entertainment; UK. Directly involved as consultant in developing the creative content of opening attraction ride film.

FAO Schwarz – Las Vegas

Animatronics scripting and audio visual, digital design for the flagship Las Vegas store Trojan Horse Attraction, tasks included the production of the complete character animation, script, sound, and score of characters floor show, created computer based multimedia programming to bring the Horse to Life in semi hourly premiere shows as themed attraction showcase. Creative design and production of animatics, PowerPoint and presentation for a planned leisure entertainment destination – urban renewal plan, to include graphics, audio-video and animatic for walk through and sale presentation of a combined eatery-gamery-community gathering center concept.

Straylight VR – Warren-New Jersey

Script, produced video, audio and music design for various corporate trade show Virtual reality events, including the design of specialty audio for “thunderseats” a technical low frequency conversion to seat vibration for patrons experience along with VR headsets. Projects included Mylex for Comdex, Hennessey, At&t – Bell Labs – Lucent, and other “VR” for special venue events.

Universal Studios Attractions:

Contributed to the production and creation of E.T. The Attraction, Jaws – Water Boat Ride, and Kongfrontation, recording soundtrack elements, script and voice, now credited with the voice dialog tracks for many of these now classic attractions. Included contribution to talent operation time on the Nickelodeon Studio Tour for walk through patrons and broadcast production Live! Magic Lantern Productions, Soundelux, Kneupper-Miceli and Universal Attractions, producers.

Digital Dynamics - Orlando

Produced the script, audio, animation graphics and post production across video, pilots and TV presentations for company’s owned IP and contract placements with Disney Village, Downtown Disney, Church Street Station, Busch Gardens, Astroworld and Knott’s Berry Farm to include videos produced for Wal-Mart, Cadbury-Schweppes as corporate sponsors, Gaylord Entertainment and Opryland USA as further destination IP on site support, and design a “animatronic” character robot of the company’s characters for point of purchase display at the character adoption center at Disney Village, including script, audio and “choreography”, burning audio into Eprom as technical needs.

NE Chapter Chairman: Membership & Communications at Themed Entertainment Association

Arranged the marketing and recruitment of international members for the Themed Entertainment Association, an international non-profit association representing the world’s leading creators, developers, designers, and producers of compelling places and experiences. Wrote a monthly magazine, e-zine, and conducted special events monthly to recruit new members, who bring the experience of engaging storytelling and entertainment to a vast number of casinos, restaurants, retail stores, museums, zoos, theme parks and water parks, with an ever-growing list of destinations that aim to bring a higher level of visitor experiences worldwide.

I brought this award winning frozen shave ice confections and frozen Beverages supplier though marketing with the IAPPA (International Association of Parks and Attractions) and the Water Park Association Shows, IFA International Franchise Shows, Gibtown ( The Carnival and Fair markets shows), the Western Fairs Associations. Sales to Parks in Shave Ice and themed frozen beverage and syrups products. Built the firm from local to global with a rolodex of new clients in over 7 regions of the world, providing a canvassed return target of 133 qualified sales leads from decision makers out of 125 countries every three months. Sales close ratio at 7% of generated lead volume adding a personal one million per year in revenue.
