I'm an intern at BMW Group as Corporate Sales, Protection & Fleet Scholar. I'm also currently pursuing a Bachelor in Business Administration & Management (8th Semester / 9) at Universidad Panamericana (IPADE Business School). Internship where I'm currently responsible for multiple aspects of the group's corporate and special sales division.
Corporate Sales (4 direct reports): I help manage different programs (Business, Professional, Employee, Fleet, and Executive) within the corporate sales division. I have the sole responsibility to manage the group's "Owner's Program", while serving as the direct link between the company and the distributors whose owners want to purchase a vehicle with a special discount.
I'm also currently appointed as lead for the "GKL Plan for 2024" project, which consists of creating a strategy for the CSS division specifically focused on boosting sales for the Grand Klasse lineup (BMW 7 Series, BMW Series 8, BMW X7, BMW XM & BMW i8). I directly manage and overview this project with the group's LATAM Regional Head of Corporate and Special Sales.
I'm part of the Selective Distribution Committee, which deliberates whether or not a distributor should be penalized for the sale of a vehicle that ended up being resold (appears in different market) depending on if they had prior knowledge of specific business activity being carried out by the customer (reselling, exports/imports, etc).
Protection (3 direct reports): I help overview the production, distribution, and sales of the factory-armored vehicles that the group offers (VR6 & NIJ III-A). The process starts when a National Sales Company (NSC) or distributor creates a request which I follow carefully until the order is fulfilled (armored vehicles ETA is at least 6 months after date of production).
Fleet (2 direct reports): I help create and manage purchase requisitions in SAP. I also help manage the vehicles currently being used by the group's executives and their families, as well as by employees.
Week long internship where I had experience on risk management, financial consultation, and portfolio management.
