- As a Port assistant I was responsible for receiving families at the Port Of Entry. After receiving them I had to take their info via computer based on their papers and due to a series of questions.
- Working as a travel assistant was interesting since I had to do research on different travel companies thinking in the possibilities of our guests.
- General jobs at shelter such as report clothing given using a report sheet, take guests to cafeteria in an organized system.
- Create recreational activities for our guests, clothes, take them to our transportation
- Offer optional services such as medical programs and religious programs.

- I used to work as coordinator of service area and was responsible for various shipments like Nissan, Ford, Harley Davison, Mercedes, BMW and other renown brands.
- I had 8 people working for me.
- My first two months I functioned as forklift operator in the shipment area, due to my skills with the scanner and my ability as a quick learner I managed to learn about the warehouse system (computer).
- Afterwards, I was moved to the service area where I learned a lot more about the system.
- Meanwhile, I was in charge of that area I still managed to help the people in my area and shipment area while being responsible of representing my team, talking to people from other countries and also rising up for them when a miscalculation occurred.

- In my first job, I learned every possible position in the quality area.
- I started inspecting the pieces (Car speakers).
- Later on, I learned how to check the sound and adjust a analog oscillator, and also functioned repacking the material from cardboard to plastic.
- Other simple things that I did there, For instance: use of computer, printers and label printing.
- Then, I learned how to drive a forklift and how to operate it safely.
- I was a multifunctional worker there and I showed myself as a compromised worker by being there when they needed me to work overtime and also by detecting faster procedures so I could help my coworkers.
- Recalling that I did this in a short period of time I was given the opportunity to do more things than I was responsible for.

- These independent work were more of a community service to me.
- Although, I was getting paid for taking care of my friend's dad and his little brother.
- During that time I worked taking care of them.
- And I served my friends dad by cooking for them, cleaning the house, administrating him medicine, playing around with the kid, washing clothes, taking care of their pets, etc...
- I really enjoyed this work, because I knew I was doing something good for someone else and also I had a great time giving attention and serving both.
