Sergio Montiel

Hello, nice to meet you, my name is Sergio Montiel and I am 19 years old and I live in Douglas Arizona but I come from Mexico, Agua Prieta Sonora was where I was born, I was studying in Mexico a large part of my time and for two years I have been studying in the United States, I am a student at Cochise College, I am in my second semester of my first year of the university, I am studying to be a lawyer, I want to comment that politics are very important in my family. My grandmother obtained an important role when she worked with Colosio on his campaign for the presidency of Mexico. It has been an inspiration for me to be able to help, listen and solve people's problems to create a more just society, im organized and dependable candidate successful at managing multiple priorities with a positive attitude, i am Willingness to take on added responsibilities to meet team goals, I am very committed to achieving my goals and I prioritize my obligations, I am determined and I never leave things for later, I do not like to procrastinate my activities. I consider myself an astute, responsible, ambitious man and I like being with my family, I take my career very seriously and I am very good at talking and interacting with people, I am a person with strong organizational skills and always manage to ensure the required level. Always ready to help, listen, advocate, learn, defend those who need it and above all contribute to society is very important to me, they are characteristics that distinguish me.

I had this participation during post covid, which was very interesting because I participated in events to contribute something to the community, we had zoom meetings, they kept us informed of what was happening in our country.

I was president of my generation, I participated in school events, some meetings that were organized and gave certain reports of the week.

I played a lot of basketball during my childhood until adolescence, I played on my usual team called Tigers and also on the school team in which I participated in championships where we were undefeated on my school team, just like I participated in cups and was victorious and I have my recognition of being a good player, I have my medals and now I really like to play tennis, I don't play it professionally like basketball but I also like it a lot and I have fun playing with my friends.

Music is something that I am very passionate about, both the guitar and the piano, and above all, listening to it gives me a lot of peace and happiness. Music is essential to start my days. I have been playing the guitar for 3 years and the piano has been implemented. Recently, my father played piano from a very early age and he was very good and to this day he plays piano in his free time, my grandmother and an uncle also play piano in their free time and my grandfather was a teacher and music teacher, he knew how to play the piano, the guitar, the trumpet and drums and with only one hand because I lost the other in a car accident, music is essential for my family and above all for me.

Hi is one of my favorite hobbies because it is where you feed your brain to obtain more knowledge, for example the book by Kobe Braynt, a great basketball player, tells in detail his career and all the effort he applied in his career to achieve success. and you focus on each word that he tells that entertains you, it is one of my favorite books, just like the history of Spain it is a great book that tells in very detail how Spain began, for example Spain was previously called Iberia and Hispania, which are valuable knowledge, my next book that I want to read is Don Quijote de la Mancha and that is why I really like reading because I learn new knowledge.
