Biochemical Engineer with over eight years of professional experience in the biotechnology industry. Currently, I am a Pilot Plant Supervisor at a leading company in the production of active pharmaceutical ingredients and fermentation products.
In this role, I have participated in the production of up to 30 different fermentation products with varied technological applications, utilizing bioreactors ranging from 1L to 5m³.
Most of the time my job consists in the maintenance, cleaning, loading, sterilization, inoculation of the bioreactors and supervision of the fermentation process including the close following of the instrumentation of the fermenter in order to avoid any deviation of the process.
I am also trained in the operation of DSP equipment such as plate centrifuges, diatomite/lenticular filters, spray/drum dryers, MF/UF and NF skids, as well as auxiliary laboratory equipment to harvest the end product.
I have worked under pressure, with teammates and with foreign personnel, making decisions and demonstrating leadership.
I am continuously trained in various national and international Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards for pharmaceuticals and food industry.
As a science enthusiast, I am eager to take on the challenge of scaling and optimizing of bioprocesses to meet market demands.
