Main activities:

  • Line balancing to work according to Takt time.
  • Creation of yamazumi to visualize mudas and balance work.
  • Time study for updating cycle times routines in SAP.
  • Creation of standard work cards to maintain the proper cycle time in each station.
  • Creation of cleaning routines to maintain 5s & autonomous maintenance.
  • Training people in Kaizen methodologies (5S, SMED, TPM, Muda hunting, VSM).
  • Implementation of continuous improvement workshops to increase efficiency (TPM-SMED-HOSHIN).
  • VSM developer to mapping process and create yearly Kaizen plan
  • Ensure GPS Targets (Grundfos Production System)
  • Layout optimization for reduce muda


Main Project:

Capacity Line Project

This project was carried out by using lean tools such as yamazumi and standardized work. Operations were measured and a target cycle time was established. Thus, the creation of standard work cards and staff training made it possible to reduce operating cycle times and thus increase the capacity of the line from 5 pumps per hour to 8 pumps per hour.

  • Kanban, Continuous flow, lean industrialization in accordance with plant / Site priorities.
  • Studies of times and movements in order to avoid ergonomic accidents in production stations.
  • Help the APU to constantly improve its QCDM results through rigorous application of the VPS tools.
  • Blue collar training for lean manufacturing tools
  • Layout solutions to increase productivity
  • Application of 5S methodology in production lines

Main Project:

Hoshin methodology for increase output

Productivity project to reduce the workforce of a production line from 6 people to 5 people, considering one team for each shift, resulting in a reduction of 3 people, giving savings of more than 30K USD. This through cycle time measurements and layout improvement for Muda reduction.
