FLNG1 Maintenance Supervisor seeking full time position as FLNG1 OIM.
I have been an active USCG OIM License holder for 13 years, during that time I have only sat in the OIM role on a temporary or as needed basis. The project in which I gained my OIM License was the Helix Producer I, a Ship Shape Full DP Production Unit, The second was Hess's Tubular Bells Spar, where I filled that role on an as need basis with my license, while I was the Maintenance Supervisor.
I relocated to Hess's Stampede project where I also filled in as OIM when needed.
On Helix Producer and Hess's Tubular Bells Projects, I held the normal ICC role of On-Scene Commander. During my time as On-Scene Commander, I directed the extinguishing of a compressor fire on the Producer 1 and a Gas Release Event on Tubular Bells Spar. While filling in as OIM on Stampede, I directed the ECC during a fire event in the main MCC.
With my back ground in Maintenance and projects, I am very familiar with the inner workings of various Fire and Gas Systems and their interconnectivity with a Platform's Safety DCS, as well as ESDs, PSDs and their different functions.
I have over 25 years experience in Power Generation with Turbines and Diesel drivers.
I am very proficient in Fire Water, Deluge and Heli-Foam Systems, Fixed Fire Fighting equipment and Training and Directing Fire Teams in the field.
I am also very experienced with many different life boat and life raft deployment.
I am very familiar with centrifugal 2 stage compressors, Electric and Turbine driven, including surge and recycle control systems.
I drafted and built Tubular Bells' Cause and Effects, up through the project phase to BSEE approval.
I was also the night PIC on Tbells During Hookup and Commissioning (HUC)
I have been on 4 offshore project from construction to first Production and 1 project TLP after HUC to first oil.
With the above and experience with Supervising Offshore Teams, I've learned how to get things done by motivating and mentoring people.
